President's Message

Greetings,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Filipino American Law Enforcement Officers Association-Sacramento Chapter website. Creating the chapter from the ground up does not come without challenges.  However, with the collective efforts from our Executive and Board Members, developing our Sacramento chapter became a reality. Just like our existing chapters, we are moving forward with our goal in supporting cultural, educational, recreational, and charitable services within our communities.

I am excited for what lies ahead as we mark our calendar for upcoming events.  From here on out, it will be the first of many and traditions we hope to continue as we grow in the future.   Our first event will be our 2019 Holiday Social Mixer. This is an event for our current members and potential members to meet, greet and to learn more about FALEO and network amongst each other. For the upcoming year, FALEO-Sacramento plans to engage in a variety of community events and we will be coordinating fundraising events so we can host our first scholarship banquet.  Our scholarships will be  awarded to graduating high school students  or continuing college students who exemplify the qualities of a good leader, mentor and  community engagement in their communities.

FALEO is open to all ethnicities and currently has many non-Filipino members who embodies the motto “Stand up and be counted”. I encourage everyone to challenge themselves by being part of something greater than ourselves and consider joining or donating to our association. Please continue to monitor our website as we post our progress.

Respectfully,

Amante Abero

President
